The Purehold Antibacterial Range is powered by Silver Ions (Ag). The antimicrobial properties of silver have been known and used for many centuries. Silver Ions (Ag) are used to destabilise the cell, stop respiration and inhibit cell division, whilst blocking DNA replication, thus killing the cell and preventing its ability to reproduce and multiply into dangerous pathogens.
Our Purehold Antibacterial Range of door handle covers has been extensively tested and proven to kill Human Coronavirus, Vaccinia Virus* and the H1N1 virus (tested to BS ISO Certified to ISO 22196 & ISO 21702). We have conducted more testing than any other antimicrobial door hygiene company which is why we remain the original and best solution to protect your doors and push plates. *Vaccinia Virus is one of the hardest viruses to destroy using a biocide.
All Purehold Antimicrobial PULL handles, LEVER handles and PUSH plates, now come with Visual Hygiene Reminder (VHR) Technology as standard.
This VHR technology is incorporated into the door sticker of each product and flashes every 3 seconds, provided a constant visual reminder to staff and visitors that Purehold is working 24/7 to kill bacteria and viruses (including Coronavirus)!
