About us
Pure Hold Ltd is a British company (registered number 06112937) set up by inventor Matt Roberts to develop his concept of the Pure Hold Hygiene Handle and help improve hand hygiene compliance in hospitals.
The company received seed funding from the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), which allowed the first prototype handle to be developed and built in 2009. Since then further private investment has been secured from a local business angel which has allowed the product to be developed, tested and launched.
The Pure Hold Hygiene Handle was developed in conjunction with National Health Service (NHS) Infection Prevention specialists and has undergone independent hospital trials at The Royal Hampshire Country Hospital (RHCH) in Winchester and Queen Alexandra Hospital (QA) in Portsmouth (August 2011).
